The purpose of this blog is to explore the Zoho CRM data export options that are available to you. Companies and users typically export data to create reports, share data or ensure their CRM data is backed up.
What are the Zoho CM Data Export Options?
Zoho CRM provides three options for exporting data:
- export data from a module – the recent changes to this option are outlined in this blog
- take a full backup of your Zoho instance
- reports – you can read more about reports here and here.
Your needs will determine which options you choose.
Backing up your Zoho CRM Instance
A data backup allows you to maintain a copy of your CRM data. You can find the data backup options under Data Administration in the setup menu.
You can choose the frequency of this backup. You are entitled to twice a month backups with all paid editions of Zoho CRM. With the twice a month frequency you can choose which day of the week.
You can choose to get backups once a month. With this option you can either choose the date or the day. If you choose this option, you will have an additional backup available on demand.
If you need more frequent data backups you can purchase this as an addon.
