This essay is a continuation of a blog I wrote that compares Zoho with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Both parts are written by Gene Marks of The Marks Group. We currently serve hundreds of Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho clients and provide training, consulting and implementation services to help our clients use these products. So is Dynamics better than Zoho? Is Zoho better than Dynamics? We’ve already looked at Zoho in Part 1. So now here are the pros and cons of Microsoft Dynamics 365, based on our experience as partners. Read More
Many don’t realize this, but Zoho, the company best known for its CRM and other office productivity applications, also offers a contact management option called Zoho ContactManager.
Does this make sense? It may very well. That’s because – and this may also come as a surprise – for many of our Zoho CRM clients, the Zoho ContactManager would be a better application for their business than a full-blown CRM product. Why? One word: overkill.
I meet a lot of business people who are frustrated with their technologies—particularly the software that they’re using. I get it. There are a lot of great applications out there, but many of them only do particular things.

These days, your team needs to include administrative support and management. Your sales force can’t do it all alone. The best way to support your team is also to have an effective CRM system in place, such as Zoho. It also helps to work with a Zoho consultant to ensure everyone on your team has a thorough understanding of everything Zoho has to offer.
