This post is a fun one–we’ll be uploading your organization’s logo to your instance of Dynamics 365. Easy. High-impact. Gotta love it! Bonus: we’ll upload a profile picture, too.
Upload Your Company Logo
Sign in to your instance of Dynamics 365. Select the carrot to the right of Sales (or whatever tile displays here for you). Click Settings, then Customizations:
Select Themes:
Select the Theme you wish to use, then click Edit:
Note: if you try to edit the Theme and it says Read Only, you can click Clone in the grey toolbar:
We need to add the logo as a Web Resource before we can set it in the Theme. Hover your mouse over the Logo search box. Click on the magnifying glass, then +New:
You must give the Web Resource a name and specify the Content Type (match this with the file type of your logo):
Next, select Choose File. Select the appropriate file from the Windows Explorer browser that appears, then click Open:
Select Save, then Publish:
Go back to the Logo Search Box and search for your new Web Resource. Remember that the name has a prefix of “new_”. Select the Web Resource:
You may Preview the theme to see if you need to resize your logo image (I like to use Paint to quickly resize images). It might take a few tries! Once you get it fitting nicely, click Publish Theme:
Bonus! Change Your Profile Picture
To upload your Profile Picture, click on the User icon on the far-right side of the screen. Select Edit Image:
Select Choose File and pick your profile picture. Click OK to finish.
