In this post, we’ll be checking out the Notifications Settings in Microsoft Teams. There, we’ll enable (or disable, depending on your needs) Skype for Business Integration. You can also make changes to how you receive Teams Notifications. Any changes made apply here only to you, not your entire org.

View Notifications Settings
As always, go ahead and start up Teams and sign in if you haven’t already. “>Settings”> in the lower-left corner:
Select Notifications from the Pop-Up menu:
Here, we see the full Notifications Settings panel:
Select a drop-down menu to change how you receive notifications for that item:
Note: Currently, you can only receive notifications for a specific Channel if you or the Channel is mentioned using @. Microsoft is currently working on allowing Notifications for all conversations in a Channel, regardless of @mentions.
Enabling Skype For Business Integration
To enable Skype for Business Integration, select Enabled from the drop-down menu. This will immediately restart Microsoft Teams. Upon restart, Skype for Business Integration is enabled.:
