OneNote allows you to easily insert a PDF printout of another document onto a page, which you can then markup or reference as needed. This is great for keeping notes during meetings or marking up documents for formatting changes. Please note that these instructions were tested with OneNote, the Windows 10 App, not OneNote 2016.
Open a page in OneNote, then select “Insert” from the top menu. Select Printout:
If this is the first time you’re trying this, you’ll get a pop-up about the file conversion.
You’ll see the original file, a pdf version of the file, and a printout of the file that you can annotate and resize.
To remove any of these, just select them and hit the delete key.
