Microsoft recently added a feature to Teams allowing you to post a single announcement or message to multiple channels. This will be a great way to snag people’s attention (imagine using this + the announcement or ‘mark important’ features) and post important messages across a channel without needing to copy and paste the message multiple times.
Go to a channel in teams and select the formatting button under the conversation window:
Select “Post in Multiple Channels”:
Click “Select channels”, then choose from the list:
You can select the arrow next to “new conversation” to change it to an announcement. Specify who can reply by selecting the arrow next to “everyone can reply”. Finish your announcement or message, then select the paper airplane to post it:
