Salesforce Lightning has a new Highlights Panel that can show important information easily at the top of the page. You can edit each page highlights panel to include up to six fields. These fields will be data that will help the user ‘know’ the contact or easily access their contact information. Did you know that Amazon is currently working to program Samuel L. Jackson’s voice into all of their Alexa products? Imagine asking your Echo to read you what’s in you shopping cart, and the iconic Mr. L. Jackson let’s you know that there is toilet paper, light bulbs, sneakers, and the complete Blu-ray set of Friends waiting in your cart to be purchased. Technology is wild, isn’t it?Are you hoping that I am about to say that Zoho has programed Sam Elliot or James Earl Jones to assist you with your business deals? Unfortunately no… that’s not an update that the program has developed yet. I wish. But what I am here to say, is that if you aren’t already using Zia to help you with your business, you should be!
Your business may be small in size, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t want your client base to reach far and wide. Especially if your business is web based! Maybe your client in Los Angeles is having difficulty with software you sold them, but you are located in Philadelphia. Maybe you have a remote team of staff members and one employee who lives in Austin needs help from your IT person, who happens to live on Long Island. Or maybe all of your employees live in one are, but to save on overhead, everyone works from home. Enter in, Zoho Assist, a remote support software that allows you to support clients and employees with their technical issues from afar.
The Zoho suite of products is notoriously user friendly- that is why millions of users around the world choose to use it. So why, pray tell, would you need training on how to use their programs? So, it is true that Zoho is user friendly, but beyond it being easy to use, it is a suite of powerful and customizable programs and training can help you get the most out of them.
It takes a lot to choose which software you want to use, buy, and set up, and often training gets left to the wayside. We see it all the time, once clients learn the basic function of a program, that’s it… training over. What that often does is leave 80% o the software not being utilized. Even the most “tech savvy” employee can benefit from learning about tips and tricks of new software, no matter how user friendly it is. So as the owner of a business, why should you pay for extra training?
I like my calendars to be color-coded. It looks nice, and when you have a busy week it just helps make sense of your calendar at a glance. You can use conditional formatting in Outlook to automatically assign colors to calendar items using conditions that you create. This really takes the work out of color-coding your calendar!
Did you know that you can overlay multiple calendars in Outlook, rather than displaying them side-by-side? If you frequently compare calendars (including group calendars) or use multiple calendars yourself, you need to try this!
