This first tip is really quick, but a total game-changer if you frequently work in Excel.
I’m really excited about sharing this tip with you this month–it’s really easy and really helpful.
Inevitably, you will have a field label that is really long and gets cut off/looks messy. If you expand the Label width too much, it can affect the size of the field input box. This happens frequently if your labels are questions! A better alternative is to move the labels to the top of the field. It might not display the full label if it’s really long, but it should help!
Dynamics 365 recognizes Sunday as the first day of the week by default, but what if your organization recognizes Monday or a different day as day 1?
This affects system filters like “This week” and “last week”.
So I showed you a month or two back how to do the quicklinks pane in a lightning form (a true must as I LOVED the related list hover in classic). Without this piece, I never even found Lightning useful (I’m a bit old school). In any case, after you add that little gem, you may want to change the order or remove related items from the list. The good news is that this is DOABLE PER USER!
As I’ve stated numerous times, I’m trying harder and harder to use Lightning, kind of going back and forth between it over the past few months. One thing that I found recently though is the “Sales Console” which is truly useful when I want to multi-task across records, copy between objects, etc.
So I spent a good amount of time on this one, hoping to figure out more and more but I have the feeling I’m only touching the tip of the iceberg. I’ve been wanting to show pieces of page layouts in certain sections, like a card – still not there. However, I did get some good tips and instruction on “alerts” for our users using rich text components and filtering those components.
When adding Products to Zoho CRM, the default for the Unit Cost and Unit Price column is two decimal places. What if you need more? Here’s how you get them:
In business there are many times where we use a vendor or subcontractor on a project and pass the cost, sometimes at a mark-up, along to a client. So what’s the best way to enter this type of transaction in Zoho Books?
You’ve transferred money between two bank accounts, now how do you book that in Books? Easy!
We all know how frustrating Imports can be when they start spitting failures. This quick Troubleshooting guide should help!
