Heres how you can add vehicle mileage expenses when using Zoho Books:
Step 1 is to set up your Vehicle and mileage rates.
- Go to Settings (Gear Wheel in upper right corner) and select Preferences
- Select Expenses from the list (you may have to scroll down a bit)
- Click Vehicle in the top navigation menu
- Click the red + New Vehicle button on the right
- Enter a name for the vehicle
- Click Preferences in the top navigation menu
- Enter your starting date and mileage rate, and select the new vehicle
Now you can enter vehicle mileage expenses:
- click Purchases in the left navigation menu, then click Expenses
- Click the red +New button
- Click “Record Mileage” from the top navigation menu
- Enter your information (you have the option to enter distance or odometer readings)
- Click save.
