Zoho CRM has a custom link feature – lets explore… for example, you can set up a google search link in the Lead module on company name. Here’s how:
- Tool icon (upper right)->Setup->Customization->Modules
- Click the Leads Module
- Across the top click Links and Buttons
- Click the Blue Add Link button (upper right)
- Enter the Google Search URL (http://www.google.com/search?q=) in the URL window
- Click the Fields drop down and select company
- The company merge field will be added to the URL
- Click Save
Now, Each Lead will have a google search link at the bottom of the left side nav panel – when clicked will google search on the company name in the Lead record!
